What is Acorn?
Acorn is an age friendly smart tablet that has been designed with and tested by the older adult! Acorn has the same functions as other smart tablet without all the hassle.
What can an Acorn do?
An Acorn can do many things such as set alarms, send emails and messages, make calls, take photos and much more.
So it’s another iPad?
No. We at Acorn think that the iPad is a fantastic product, but it has a user interface that is designed for people who have previous experience using this kind of technology whereas with Acorn we’ve specially designed the Acorn for people an older adult who may have not had any previous experience with smart tablets.
How much does the Acorn cost and where can I buy an Acorn?
An Acorn Tablet with integrated Data is: €590 (includes Data, software updates and customer support for the year).
Year 2: €290 for Data, software updates and customer support.
An Acorn Tablet (Wifi only) is: €480 (includes software updates and customer support for the year)
Year 2: €80 for software updates and customer support.

What do I need to use Acorn?
You need an Acorn tablet, a WiFi connection or data and you’ll need to setup a Google Account!
How will I get help with my Acorn?
The Acorn tablet comes preloaded with videos on how to work everything which can be found if you click on the help button in the top right of the screen.
Alternatively, you can find all these videos in the community section of our website.

How long does it take to charge the Acorn?
It takes roughly 3 hours for the Acorn to reach full charge.
When you get the Acorn first it may take slightly longer to get the battery fully operational.
How long does the battery last when fully charged?
The battery when fully charged will last up to 4 days if used intermittently.
How much data will I receive each month under the data plan option?
You will receive 100GB 4G data.
What will happen when I reach 100 GB data before the end of the month?
The Acorn will continue to function as normal for majority of your use. However, you will see reduced speed of service on heavy data applications like Netflix when using SIM data. All applications will be unaffected when using on Wifi.
How can I pay for Acorn?
We accept credit card payment via Stripe, PayPal or by telephone.
